People like you never answer the question. What if your sensitive, bleeding-heart methods of "diplomacy and peaceful interrogation" don't work?
What do you do when you have someone in custody and you KNOW that his information can save your family? You would be a despicable fool if you didn't consider waterboarding, a method that doesn't kill and allows the terrorist to walk away.

No, I would not approve of that barbaric torture technique. I would use diplomacy and peaceful interrogation to stop the "terrorist" (America is the real terrorist in this world).

Answer this question honestly, if that's possible.....if your family was going to be killed but their lives could be saved by waterboarding a terrorist, would you approve of it?

deeeedwards, waterboarding is bad, too. Watch this author undergo just 10 seconds of the procedure before giving up. He still has emotional trauma from it.

deeeeedwards... being tortured doesn't qualify you for the presidency, and while we're at it, it IS torture, otherwise we'd employ a more effective method of interrogation. People who have WILLINGLY undergone waterboarding (just to understand it) have walked away traumatized...
Am I safe in assuming you still have yet to try it out? Well, before you downplay torture methods, go for it.

LOL...ask John McCain about torture sir, and we'll see what he would have preferred: SIMULATED drowning, where the person walks away 100% physically fine, VS having your arms pinned behind your body and slowly pulled back until the shoulder socket cracks, or having bamboo shoved up the fingernails, or being elecrically shocked with a cattle prod until large burn marks scar the body.
John McCain walks with a limp to this day, and cannot raise his right arm over his head. THAT is torture sir.
