  • The 800Xl i think has Composite video output (the yellow RCA) you can connect direct on any TV,if you wan for VGA monitor just you need converter like vgabox .

  • Hello. Would it be possible for you to explain in detail how you connected the Horizontal Sync and the Vertical Sync to the GBS-8220 board? I'm trying to connect a CGA video source to one of these boards and having trouble with the sync part.

You mentioned using a cap and 2 resistors -- how exactly are they wired, and which pin do they go to on the GBS-8220?

    Thank you in advance.

  • CGA signal is different to this..

try :combine H&V with 100ohm resistors in each line, and put it on (Signal) pin on the board.

  • I'm curios about the components on the H and V line, what was wrong with the Atari's original H-sync and V-sync signals?

  • U know if it is possible to run the GBS-8220 on am amiga600 for gaming(all resolustions etc.) ????

  • Hi, isnt there a gadget where i can plug my 800xl into a vga lvd? That's cool what you've done, but i'm no tech wizard with wires :(
