Begining work on my bigger and hopefully better model.
Mounted from underneath for better stability.
Roller blade bearings for smooth rattle free spinning.
Hardened stainless steel axle.
Waiting for my 2 inch Neo ring magnets from K&J Magnetics.
Anyone know a good source for magnet wire?
Thanks!
Eddie
...Update...Unfortunately this design did not work for a newman motor, so I used it in the construction of my pulse motor.

  • Thanks crobb,

    Thats good advice.

I'm not afraid to tear apart any device if I can get good wire.

  • ebays great for magwire but you could also recycle out of old microvaves, and motors, you would be supprised how much wire they put on a armiture from a vacumn.
