Made for a final project in COMT 100 at the University of California, San Diego. Footage credits appear at the end of the video and I do not claim ownership for any of its contents.
In particular I would like to thank the maker of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knBksWZg16U&feature=feedf for the facts-laden graphics at the end, and the public domain Prelinger Archives for the dated PSA videos.
I only hope this video may help to bring awareness to some of the ridiculous claims that were made in the original unjust prohibition of marijuana, and many of the reasons why it is ludicrous to keep such prohibition active.
In particular I would like to draw attention to the connections between marijuana's prohibition and the prohibition of alcohol in the early 20th century, especially in light of this recent Yahoo! report (http://www.thepostgame.com/features/201103/k2-gains-popularity-among-athletes-similar-high-pot-no-positive-drug-test) about the dangerous affects of K2, which eerily resembles how people used to try to get around alcohol prohibition with dangerous moonshine concoctions.
Everyone who likes pot, reach for my joint.
