  • One of the highlights of the "More Treasures from American Film Archives" DVD set.

  • Just saw this last night with the Hot Club of San Francisco providing the music...a sublime experience. Apparently the Bowers comedies survived only in France, and were often used in traveling Gypsy shows (thus the Hot Club connecsion).

  • Funny, clever, fantastic! ! We forget how entertaining a silent movie was back in the 1920s. The piano player is a virtuoso! Few can accompany a silent film half as good! 5 stars!! ***** Thanks for posting !!

  • That is hilarious. Guaranteed to make any Scot roll on the floor laughing.

  • Amazing- truly brilliant and hilarious! Thanks much for posting this!

  • What a revelation. Charley Bowers. Great, great stuff.

  • Wow! It's The Monty Python of its day.
