2006 is nothing but a 2002 wannabe. Monte Carlo went south since they did the small redesign and bowtie'd the front.

I have the same setup on my 06 lt3 since june of 07. wouldn't change a thing, cruising rpms in 4th around 40mph seem a little low now probably due to reduced backpressure. At idle it sure doesn't sounds like a V6 does it? clos

Fuel Mileage id say about 3-4mpg and HP is noticable, but not documented. you can feel it!

And the 3.9 is a kick ass motor... Will smoke a 2002. Cause I have. I took a Supercharged Monte as well. but yea It should work with your setup but you have the 3.5, Might not sound the same.
