I grew up watching these sci-fi/horror flicks in the late 60's & early 70's; for the longest time, I had vague memories of this particular scene but could not remember the title of the movie.

Thanks for the memories...one thing for sure, they don't make 'em like this anymore!

"I Married..." is a superior film, directed by Gene Fowler Jr. Done in 1958 it stars future gothic horror novelist Tom Tryon. In it's script, direction and "message" it is superior to the better-known "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". This film tears about the conventional 1950s wisdom of the weak female, gender roles and even has the courage to take on the mores of 50s sexuality. "I Married A Monster From Outer Space" is a great film... don't let the title fool you. Oh yeah, it's scary too.
