I bought the house, put my stuff in it, and explored everywhere but the basement. I knew something must have been wrong, but i only found out it was haunted after i searched up how to make it new again. I never actually bothered sleeping there.

It's not 2500 without modding the game, so I can't help. The price is 5000 in vanilla version. There is no variations. It could be a bug, but I don't think bug can change the number 5000 to 2500 in dialog.

@Taaplari yeah .. but for me it costs 2500 gold and i cant buy it because when i click the (heres 2500 gold) button it says that i dont even have the money . when i have the money SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH ;)

You are forced to see the price, because you click that option when you decide to buy it, so how can you not see it? :) After 0:57 in my video.

Price doesn't get any lower even if you are the master of mercantile. You have to pay what he asks, but nothing after that.

Matter of taste, but It's a good deal IF you like the house, because decorations are expensive and those are free here if you complete the quest. DO NOT put your stuff in the house before completing the quest, because they will disappear.
