Defining the Future - Advanced Practice Nursing at the WVU School of Nursing

The faculty of the WVU School of Nursing have been helping students achieve their educational and professional goals for 50 years. Our vision sets us apart from other nursing schools - we want you to be ready to nurse in the 21st century and beyond. We are using the latest technology to bring you personalized graduate nursing educational programs right in your own home. There are multiple masters (MSN) tracks - one of which is just right for you. Classes are informal offering a blend of online classrooms, workshops, tutorials, and private discussion areas. Our newest areas of study in the graduate programs prepare not only Family, Neonatal, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, but now you can be a Womens Health or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. We have also added a Nursing Leadership track for nurses who want to go into administration, and we have not one but TWO doctoral programs; our newly accredited ONLINE Doctor of Nursing Practice program (one of the first four fully accredited practice-professional doctorate programs in the nation) and our PhD program in nursing with both summer and full-time options (the first in WV).
