GT R Jebel Hafeet English

Nissan GT-R sets first ever officially recorded time to ascend the famous Jebel Hafeet mountain road at Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The car was driven by FIA Vice President and former Middle East rally champion Mohammed Ben Sulayem. The 485bhp Nissan GT-R covered the 7 km course with its 22 corners in 3 minutes and 39 seconds setting a benchmark time.

They should organize an international hill climb event on this road, similar to the Pike's Peak event in the USA.

Without a doubt the best road I've ever driven - the only downside is having to dodge all the tourist traffic on the way up.

Amazing Car....Nice Clip...Could have been better though.

Al-Ain traffic Police needs to have a permanent base on Jebel Hafeet as this act would be tried by many & could be dangerous.

The driver is Mohammad Bin Sulayem. The mountain is Jebel Hafeet.

My buddies and I used to ride up Jebel Hafeet on motorcycles when I lived in Al Ain. Great fun.
