Laura Hernandez, director of "Los Sures" David Santiago Senior Center in Brooklyn, New York, ran a successful model program of health and fitness for its senior citizens called the HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAM. It was designed and created by "Miracle Hands" director Elias Rosa, who led a team of leaders to introduce dance, yoga, motion therapy, shiatsu and acupuncture as an alternate pattern of health. The program was received with such enthusiasm that plans for its expansion is already in progress for the spring of 2009.
