This originally aired on September 21, 1954 [the first show of the '54-'55 season]. Dorothy Kilgallen and Jack O'Brian were entertainmenment columnists for the NEW YORK JOURNAL-AMERICAN (and syndicated nationally by Hearst/King Features)- she wrote the daily "Voice Of Broadway" column, while Jack primarily reviewed TV and radio shows [he took over Dorothy's column after her unexpected death in November 1965].
