Lance Cpl. Drew W. Weaver, 20, of St. Charles, Mo., died Feb. 21 while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
This is Drew coming home.

My brother Josh was in the same batallion as Drew and told me what had happened. He told me Drew directly saved the lives of 6-8 marines by taking this bullet. More importantly, he indirectly defended and saved the lives of a whole nation. May god bless his soul. Rest in Peace Drew.

I would love to hear the whole story. I've heard bits and pieces about it. But I did hear that he'd saves at least 7 of his guys! God Bless him!
