This version of Chris's talk has the wrong picture of film-maker Jonathan Chu. Please watch the new version of the talk that has the corrected picture of Chu. http://www.youtube.com/user/TEDtalksD...
http://www.ted.com TED's Chris Anderson says the rise of web video is driving a worldwide phenomenon he calls Crowd Accelerated Innovation -- a self-fueling cycle of learning that could be as significant as the invention of print. But to tap into its power, organizations will need to embrace radical openness. And for TED, it means the dawn of a whole new chapter ...
How come TED's head guy Chris Anderson is giving his own TEDTalk? Well, it all started with an idea that wouldn't go away -- an insight into the true significance of web video, and what it might mean for the world's future. Bruno Giussani, who runs our TEDGlobal conference, got excited enough about the idea that he insisted Chris speak at Oxford this summer. The talk ushers in a whole new chapter in TED's history ... one which you're invited to help write. Please watch, and then help shape the future of TED with your comments.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. Closed captions and translated subtitles in a variety of languages are now available on TED.com, at http://www.ted.com/translate. Before Chris Anderson gets to innovative matters, he should learn more about basic web browsing and how to find pictures of directors such as Jon Chu. That picture he shows in his presentation, is not Jon Chu. And the name of that guy pictured is nothing even remotely close to Jon Chu. I wonder if Anderson here has figured that out yet. Maybe he can start looking for the correct photo, if he hasn't already.

they don't remove that much of it anymore. They now just claim any ad revenue that is generated and give it to the owners of the copyright. A far more eligant solution

I am so grateful that Anderson has made all of these videos available to the public for free and kept it free of annoying Youtube Ads.

For the love of God and all that is good and kind, find a Bible or the spiritual book that is in your life and see if there is some way to help the world not tear it down...
All I know is hate and racism has not worked. I am so troubled by the hatred and anger I hear here.
