Demo of a Semantic Web Portal

This demo shows how a Semantic Web could look like that is dynamically created by an automatic semantic analysis and not limited by semantic web standards. People could search much more efficient and explore the web by dynamic links following their individual interests. Thie example is based on the iQser GIN Plattform, a flexible semantic middleware.

The data comes from a semantic middleware, the iQser GIN Platform, that provides a service layer to query its index, linked data graph and linked concept graph. For scaling and performance reasons the system uses a special persistency layer with two components, one is a relational database. Another reason not to use a triple store are the use of quadruples, which are created incrementally and in real-time. You can plug in any data source like websites, document repositories or linked open data.

Hi there. Very nice demo. Can you tell me where is the data coming from? Are you accessing sparql endpoints, or a local triple store? Is it a database or file (or file systems).

Can this software search the web in real time and extract facts (triples) from it automatically or does it deal only with rdf/owl/other semantic types? Sorry for the lots of questions, I wanted to know what this can do before I give it a shot. Take care ;)
