Using the Emotiv EPOC to control a live 3D model in Rhinoceros 4.
The model is a form-finding method used to create efficient structural forms - an automated version of the "hanging chain" method. The Rhino model is linked to an automated force generator in the open source Grasshopper plug-in which also uses an open-source physics module (Kangaroo). The applied force is linked to a spreadsheet cell which is controlled by macros linked to PUSH and LIFT actions via EmoKey. Increase or decrease the force with your mind, and watch what happens to the model in real time.
