@Oceaniamarine Cool thx. I don't work with boats but I do work with steel. Seems to me it would be much easier to just cut a hole in the easiest spot & weld it back up when your done. Fiberglass just seems so much harder to do that but I guess there is no other way and having a designed in area for that makes sense. Like an area that doesn't effect the overall structure. Anyways, thx for the answer.

This is a Norhavn 62, not a Nordhavn 64. The 64 is a completely different boat.

If a motor needs to be replaced, how do you do that on a GRP boat? I realize that isn't a likely scenario but I have always wondered that because at the shows it sure doesn't look that possibility has been planned for.

There is normally a 'soft patch' in the deck above the engine room that can be taken off and the engine craned out. On the Nordhaven I am not sure what they have arranged but I am sure it will be something like that.

He says its a Nordhavn 64' but the descriptions reads 62'.
Either way it is a beautiful boat.
