@Thutmosis7 no he wouldnt. because court speed has changed alot too. why do you think you see no more serve vollyers? not even at wimbledon. the only reason nadal won wimbledon is because the grass has slowed down allllooottt. besides while sampras was great he didnt have as complete a game as federer in my mind. just watch his videos and notice his down the line backhand. he misses most of the time. granted its only one shot but its the one shot thats seperating him and federer.

@Thutmosis7 yeh he definately said this era was tougher.i wish i had the interview cause id show you. somewhere on youtube i think. i was suprised because i wouldve agreed with you. but he is right.the game has alot of depth now because we all learnt from the great players of the past so we benefit from them and improve. also its hard to compare federer and nadal because federer is past his prime now and nadal is just reaching his.02-07 was by no means weak we just forget how good federer was
