@pablodukeguerra Glad you liked it.
The Windsor and New Yorker aren't that different. Sometimes I wonder why they made two different but almost identical models. Something about automotive economics I guess.

i have a 48 new yorker also. the engine knocks when it gets hot. way too expen$ive to rebuild. i'll be swapping out the engine later this year. i even have the correct air cleaner. if you want it, come and get it free .can't ship this monster. oh, the trans that you(we) have has four(4) forward speeds. 2 in lo range-2 in hi . wind it up in 1st,lift the gas-wait for a clunk,2nd gear! shift down to hi-4th gear. cannot get all 4 gears sequentially though. feb 8th,2011

@mschiffel1 Hi. I finally figured out getting into 2nd gear when the shifter is in the up position. On the video I said 3 speed but really it is 4. Now I use all 4 gears when driving.

I've got a black 48 Windsor with the Highlander interior. Had it for about 17 years now but it' s just sitting in the spare garage. I took it out of a storage after building said garage several years ago and it won't shift into high anymore. I was so busy raising my two children, I couldn't seem to find the time or money for it. I hate the thought of selling it but I also hate to see it just sit there.
Anyway, thanks for the vid, it brings back memories.

@dfhowes Glad you liked the video. I'll have to shoot another one this year after I think of someplace fun to drive.
Actually we are thinking of selling ours as well. Just not enough time to drive it consistently.
