*In the kitchen. Jen is screaming at Demi, who is crying but angry at the same time.*

Jen- I ask very little of you Demetria and the one time I asked you to be on your best behavior and ignore your grandmothers comments, you do the exact opposite and fight with her.
D- youve got to be kidding me mom! Did you see what she said to me before I even got a chance to say hi? She insults me before I even looked at her. Thats ok with you?
Jen- of course its not and I was going to say something but not in front of everyone
D- everyone? Meaning Joe?
Jen- yes
D- its Joe, mom. Joe Montez my boyfriend! Since when is he company? And you were never planning on saying anything.
Jen- yes I was and dont talk to me like that, Im your mother.
D- I dont care. At least I stand up for myself
Jen- excuse me?
D- youre afraid of your mother. Its obvious. You cant even stand up to her.
Jen- I am not afraid of her.
D- yeah ok
Jen- I will not have you causing anymore issues tonight. I dont care if your boyfriend is ridiculously famous, I dont care that your father is back, and I dont care that you have Selena at your side to defend you. I know you planned this so that you could form your little army of people so that your grandmother would have a hard time getting to you.
D- yeah cause thats what I did, just to annoy you
Jen- stop being a brat and stop thinking about yourself. Do this for me. Put someone else before yourself.
D- because youre being so nice and friendly? Or because you did everything you could to stop that witch of a mother you have from treating me, your daughter, like complete crap? Yeah sure, Ill do this for you, since youve done SO much for me. Im so glad youre my mom. (walks out, angry and crying)
Jen- Demetria! Come back!
D- keep talking mom since no one is listening and no one cares(already up the stairs. Slams the door to her room shut.)

*Joe and Selena go up to Demis room. Demi threw her shoe at the wall in anger. Joe hugs her and she cries. Selena rubs her back and lets her get it all out, while Joe kisses her head.*
