Port Out, Starboard Home!

This is a new song for my side project called Port Out, Starboard Home! I'm sick but I tried :]

And one day these bricks will release from my weight
I will no longer carry a heavy heart burdened in shame
I may not confess my sins
I may be repressive, holding in
But at least Im trying to deal with it, so cant you wait while

Im giving up the best parts of me
To finally free myself of regret
Its not something I can do quite easily
Im starting to feel overwhelmed
Im not trying to find my path
Im trying to make one for myself
And if I get stuck along the way
Someone can see how I got out

I know the day seems so long when you woke up to the wrong side
Sometimes we feel like going on wont be worth it in the end
I hoped that I wouldnt see the edge or overboard
In the morning I came to see everything was different
