@Ir0nF1st924 you are so wrong1!!! 1. Wehrmacht is not the SS, 2. IF there was mistreatment it would be the same as in any army (ie Abu Ghraib) of which NONE of the allied forces were innocent of either and most importantly we visited families of French veterans and of contemporary witnesses who mentioned that the Germans were kind occupiers. OK, granted that it is questionable to just march into a country and claim it, but they said that the Americans were the ones that plundered! Germans paid.

German foot soldiers did commitee atrocities aswell. And the SS still represented Germany in the war.

The Germans shouldnt march because they started the war that milions died in and they murdered and tortured so so many innocents everywhere, also alot in the Normandy area. They can honor the fallen but I think it is an insult for the people who died in the war for them to march there.

At least the British speak proper English. And why the hell shouldn't the Germans march? They honour the fallen as much as any country. What the fuck? Put the past behind you mate.
It is actually the only second time German forces participated in the ceremonies.
