    He was born November 15, 1928 I talked to him a month ago and he still sounds good. Send him a Birthday card or Christmas card to let him know we still care.

  • I have driven a 1998 Peterbilt through downtown Pagosa Springs. I didn't wreck and had a load of potatoes but I couldn't help but think of this song. Much better than looking at women standing on corners in Winslow, Arizona.

  • @user208351 back in 2009 Freewheelin' a show on the trucker's channel on sirius/xm satellite radio "The Roaddog" talked to Bill Fries (AKA C.W. McCall). he talked with them for the entire show & took calls from the listeners. you can find the interview online.
