Some more noodling on my U2 reissue. As some of you already know, I don't really try to show off or play whole songs. I try to give people an idea of all the sounds the guitar is capable of, so I run different licks and rhythms to help you be the judge.
It's a fun guitar and the lipstick pickups really sound great through my Vox AC15. Even with some overdrive (Fulltone Fulldrive 2) cranked in, you get a good hybrid of classic and modern tone. Analysis: neck pickup for clean sounds that hearken back to rockabilly and surf rock and roll, bridge pickup for gutsy but refined overdrive... perfect combo.

I NEEEEED lipsticks now, that sound is just perfect, but the only brand I can find are Duncans, and they're close to $100.

I have that exact model but itw purple is that a rare color or something it has the small plate missing but I'm pretty sure its the same as urs just because of how close together the screw holes are and do u no of were I could find a new plate with were the d and the outline is cuz I havnt seen any anywere
