Lastly...seriously...watch some REAL shaolin lineage forms and techniques....this shaolin do does not look anything close. It's sloppy kung fu roleplaying by karate students. Karate is not bad, it's a great art, but what's not a great art is the load of shit these brainwashed people call SHAOLIN DO, they claim to be pure SHAOLIN Lineage!...hell most any styles now are hybrids. Look deep within your mind and think about this..it's too good to be true people...it is not real it's fake . Good luck!

@g0f3rfighter I have no doubt that it was corrupted at some point. That should be expected. And as for Sin The remembering over 500 forms, it was my understanding that Grandmaster Ming left written notes on them. He probobly has them on video, too.

@christopherfisk- Oh trust me it isn't just Gary Grooms, it's also GM Sin Kwan The. I've seen many of his forms and they are so karate-ish it's not even funny. His mantis form is just a bad imitation of preying mantis I've ever seen. How can you seriously watch a shaolin-do form such as mantis let's say, then look at a family style mantis form, then a shaolin kung fu form and NOT see the huge difference?

"jaws dropped" for real! I have seen virtually nothing skillful on any of you guys' vids. Totally illegitimate from what I see. It looks like a poorly executed type of kempo karate. You got to be kidding me! No offense to the young man in the video, he is most likely an innocent dupe. But this shaolin do do is complete b.s. Based on other vids I've seen and the "grandmaster" This is FAR from shaolin quan. It even sucks big time for karate which it most resembles (no offense to real karatekas as well). Even in my current shape, I personally will whip that a** of ANY of their practitioners, including the "grandmaster"! Give me a break! Shameful!

This art is a fraud people , and I'm sure this comment will get deleted quickly , but hopefully some will see it. There is NO way that this so called "grandmaster" can know more than 500 forms PERFECTLY, this is impossible. In family systems there are usually less than 20 forms to learn up to black sash. Speaking of Sashes, this Shaolin Do is freakin Karate with kung fu moves interpreted from books and movies people, this is NOT the real deal . I HIGHLY suggest you all to go to a REAL SCHOOL!

This stuff is a joke. I have spoken to people that were "traitors" to shaolin do, they have told me so many things that have gone on in this terrible art. Shaolin Do is all about the money and that's what it all boils down to. They have 3 branches from the "so called" grandmaster of which is reaping all the benefits from it's foolish students. They tell their students to believe EVERYTHING this master says...simple this is brainwash preying on the weak minds of people who watch to many movies

From what I understand, some monks migrated to indonesia and put on a uniform and adapted the belt ranking system to disguise the forbidden shaolin art. No dought it was probably corrupted at some point. I have met both Sin, and Hiang and trained with Hiang at his home. He is the real deal, very deceptive. I have never seen Sin do too much though. Go ahead and underestimate this style, you will pay for it if you get the right person who trains hard and understands the apps. Good foundation.
