how did you make the time of the simulation so long..... my simulations a very short ,how do i increase the time???
-
@name1011 i love yu, thanks for telling us
-
render takes lots of ram, not cpu. but evendough, me having an i 7 triple channel when i put 12 Gb of ram it somtimes crashes when i only need 6gig (what blender says. ) so it stays fishy.

its the mini tsunami
-
what about render time?
-
iv just started using yaf(a)ray for blender and it renders fluids so fast on my average (bad) pc it renders frames in 15 seconds! so my latest render (388 frames) only took 2 hours to render!
-
how much ram?
-
this one looks great even without the caustics. Very nice lighting! Increase refraction depth for more realistic water (the transparency that was referred to above). Also, don't forget to deactivate the rendering of your inflow object as it still is visible. I should know cause I forget it all the time too ;)
But awesome lighting and work dude!

resolution depends on RAM, not processor.
-
Do I see bubbles?
awewsome it probably took forever to render
next time use caustics and ray transparency

Looks great! And you answered one of the questions I have had regarding fluids... how make the constant flow. Thanks a lot :)

No Problem :D

how did you get a constant flow of water?

The constant flow of water is easy.
Inside the Domain you have a object (a rectangular prism in my case) Instead of setting the object as a "Fluid" set the object as a "Inflow"(this creates the constant stream) also If you have a "Inflow" have a "Outflow" in the Domain or the box will just fill up with water.
hope that's simple to follow :D
