I think john was lying when he said he hated the beatles.

i'm 100% sure most of the times he was happy. its just one powerful thought in his head made him convince himself, that he had to leave. even though he knew leaving wouldn't make hi any happier....

thats what i think..

i did the same thing... left everything for no reason. i feel like i have to.

i feel like i'm lennon, but i just wanna be Paul. (in the sense of commitment, not like... "comparing myself to" beatles as a thing or whatever)

@jkjkjij22 - I'm sure he never hated The Beatles.

I'm not so sure he was ever really happy in his personal life until he met Yoko, even then he seemed to have good times and bad.

The sad thing is the final interviews he gave before his death he sounded quite content - happy even.

Paul was lucky to meet Linda, not many people meet a true soulmate.
