Tofino - Vancouver Island, Canada.

I spent 3 nights in Tofino at Eik Landing (Adrienne's Loft) http://www.eiklanding.com - which was a nice upgrade from the Hostel in Vancouver (Granville Street) where we had stayed earlier. The view from the apartment was pretty damn amazing. Tofino is a small town of 1.500 souls but receive over a million visitors a year (not a lot in April, though :).

It's situated on the Pacific coast and is at the very end of the only paved road that crosses the island (built during WWII). This is heaven if you ask me - I could settle here for the rest of my life :) I'd just need a faster Internet connection than the 256kbit one that the apartment had...

I'll be posting a few videos from here. If you're ever in the area, don't dare miss Tofino :)

Yes, a parachute - but no person just a package. They came around several times. I guess, they were practising.
