@7Network I don't *think* so. I imagine it was intended to continue the implication that the Tories are Nazis, which *was* fairly common on Spitting Image (see the 1987 Election Special, and pretty much anytime Norman Tebbit was present)

@MsPregis He was a Labour MP and a major trade union leader of the 1970s and 1980s leading the TUC. Seemed like a nice man.
