We need to talk to God during the hard times in life. Jesus' example at Gethsemane should be for us a demonstration that we can talk to Him in the darkest of times in life.

This clip is taken from the sermon Pray Like Jesus, which can be found in full at http://www.marshillchurch.org/media/pray-like-jesus/pray-like-jesus

  • AWESOME

  • "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will." Matthew 26:39

  • @DryBONESreborn

No. The point he's making is that our faith isn't a function of how poor or wealthy we are.

  • @Conail23 So we should be happy about poverty gospel?

  • @romebusiness

What is pain and suffering? Explain your definition of it so I can present a argument that is relative to you.

  • @igrok42

Because my suffering brings glory to my Love. God is glorified the most when we suffer and praise God none the less. Man I know its tough to understand because you dont have the perception that I have right now but you will just have to trust me that if you trust God then you would understand! Its the truth bro...the truth.

  • @Conail23 He is totally against it!

  • Because a God who is truly just and pure would not remove pain an suffering from this world. It's the byproduct of sin coming into this world. God created Man, he LOVED his creation. Man betrayed God and severed the connection with him. Man was now impure, God being Pure could not be with man, but God loved Man. See the conflict? That's where Jesus comes in (Insert "Good News" gospel here) :)

  • @dean2cool4u That's what Jesus wanted, sure. But God set up a world full of suffering and pain... why not remove the suffering and pain altogether?

  • @igrok42 Also ready 1st peter, the whole book is on suffering.
