A touching clip from the movie Swades. A NRI (Non resident Indian) while visiting India gets moved by seeing the less privileged. This makes him to return to his country later. Background Instrumental played by me :)

  • Thankyou for uploading this, other who upload this same scene from Swades in youtube,I not able to watch them because tears come from my eyes although I never suffer from poverty.

  • There are unfortunate kids and adult everywhere.. You just gotta open your heart to see it..

  • is it your original score ?

  • @himanv Wow the scale of the project is huge. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

  • @sadhaklal It's a primary education and social service organization (NGO) geared toward the welfare of the tribals all over India. You can read more about it at their web site, ekal.org. Currently, Ekal runs almost 35,000 schools serving about 1 million students in the most socioeconomically backward parts of India.

  • @himanv What is Ekal Vidyala? Can you please tell me about it?

  • @turtletrader1001 So you don't know a thing about me but don't mind making assumptions in order to score some online debating brownie points. There are multiple ways to serve causes--not everybody has to be on the ground fighting the war, as it were. In World War II, American women didn't take up arms and board ships bound for Europe, but they served the cause nonetheless. As for your 60 years comment-- just know that other Asian countries have overcome same problems of India in same time.

  • @himanv.nobody is blaming outsiders.where did u pick this one up from?I completely agree change comes from within. Hence no point being out of the system and criticizing.if you want change then be the change.oh but i forgot u are already out of the system in India and hence cant change anything. but surfing youtube for swades videoa and sending pocket money back could serve your sense of conscience. And one more thing, you will find 60 years is infant age in the life of a country. how old is t US?

  • @turtletrader1001 Ha...Is that all you got? Why should I go to India, when I already left and am not an Indian citizen? Change comes from within, not without. Change comes from the ground up. If you're in India, you have to do that job, not anybody else. Others can help the cause. You can lead a horse to water...and such. 60 years of independence should be enough to where Indians don't blame outsiders for their ills.

  • @moizkkhan111 even though we dont know about pakistan much, i request to do some thing for your place, Big politicians are playing between us, stop youngsters of ur nation being get addicted into religion, Humanity is the best religion,
