Wayne Simien played for the Jayhawks at the University of Kansas from 2002-2005. He helped lead the Jayhawks to a Final Four in his fresman season and he was a first team All-American his senior year.
@Hamez227 Not true. He was on a roster for just over two years and barely played after his first year. He is a classic bust in the college-to-pro transition. I wish they would make a pro league that plays college-style basketball to let guys like this keep entertaining us fans who don't think a couple spectacular dunks make up for a game of overlooked travels and arbitrary fouls.
@Onwisconsin18 He's not a bust at all, he quit. He quit before the 08 summer league to do ministries and shit.

man simien just demoralized the other team. figured he'd have a great career. Pretty shot and so strong. salmonella really took a lot out of him.

If he weren't a walking injury (his sophomore season was wiped out by freak'n salmonella poisoning) he'd be a solid starting PF at worst.

Tyler Hansbrough will win the player of the year again, hands down, if he can add some of the moves that Simien displayed while at Kansas.
