This video is really, really dumb. Then again, look who posted it.

typical conservative spinning of logical, and compassionate reasoning. Cut off funding for the troops=George Bush has no choice but to bring them home. He should have said funding for the war.
-
Cutting off the funding for the troops does not mean they'd immediately have no funded and be stranded and throwing bullets. They already have billions of dollars that haven't been spent yet that have already been approved that can pay for them to return.
-
Which would end the war.
Is this so difficult for you to understand?
-
Propaganda at its finest.
-
No, it means he wants to cut off the funding for this pointless adventure that's killing so many of them.

Franken's pretty clearly talking about Democratic strategy after September: "I think you make the president cut off funding for the troops." That is, pass funding with a timetable for withdrawal, watch Bush veto it, and then accuse the president of "cutting off funding for the troops." Put the onus on him and argue to voters that Democrats want to fund the troops but Bush won't let them.

you're an idiot.
is that supposed to be some sort of damning indictment of Franken?!?!? Cutting off funding does not in any way mean that you don't support and repsect the troops. It means you want them to come home and stop putting them in harms way on a fools errand. franken's views are perfectly consistent. whowever put this lame little video together is either knowingly insulting our intelligence, or is not so intelligent himself. either way, the faulty logic and the bull crap must stop.
