Why is it the only people that agree with Avery's antics are brain dead rags fans?? The team mates on his shift were pissed with him too i remember. In fact, he was pissing in the faces of the fans and his own hard working team mates that were trying to be professional sportsmen, trying to win the cup. Really he pissed in the face of hockey, a sport that alot of people admire.

avery just owned marty big time in the series. always ran over marty, talked thrash, did his antics and scored goals. that's what makes him a great player(lots of disagreements coming to my direction). marty is or was the pussy and a sore loser by not shaking his hand. avery does these things on the ice, which kinda belongs to the game although he doesn't follow the rulebook. in ordinary life avery doesn't do these things, he is just like everyone else. I dont see any problem with avery
