  • Do some people make their own custom stances?

  • obviously yes.

    °v°

  • Was this a specific style? Kendo? The strikes were fast and seemed pretty powerful, but the stances looked odd. I may just not be familiar with the forms.

  • No specific style, it´s the summary of my weapon based training history.

Some kendo, some stickfighting, some staff fighting and so on,

What´s wrong with the stands from your point of view ?

  • @yoruketseki in kendo they use a diffrent type of wepon kendo use bambo made swords

  • @miandore lol indeed

  • 90% resulting in aiuchi(both dying)

  • @andrewdrury1 I disagree. I would say keeping your spine erect and your knees slightly bent, with your weapons tip facing between the opponents head and chest area. I feel like if I got too close to the ground I would lose focus and be cut down. I prefer to stay "above the enemy" In many ways.

  • @Michiel942 I know lol.

  • I've always found that getting lower to the ground is more effective considering both balance and also blocking, The lower you are, the more of your body you can block. However, I don't think you are as quick on your feet whilst lower to the ground.

  • the guy in the white headband has a clever idea... dress like a goof & Yell something misleading like "pass!".... yep. that'll throw em' off.

  • eres la loca mas peligrosa con un bokken que e visto jajaja te felicito

  • eres la loca mas peligrosa bokken que e visto jajaja te felicito

  • @zukuru So it's not derrived from any one style in particular? I have to say I'm impressed. For something homegrown, this really looks like a pretty respectable, practical sword style.
