Well, we cant look at stars and see their planets with the Hubble. Planets reflect light where as Stars produce the light. The light from the star drowns out the light being reflected by the planet. We are builing a new telescope though that will be able to detect light variations in stars. that way we can see planets orbiting past the star. But what is this "Moon" you speak of that a tablespoon weighs the same as Mount Everest?
I think you may be thinking of a Neutron Star.
