This is a tutorial/demo of how I create linework in Adobe Illustrator CS3. I'm doing a fanart of Odette and Odile from the 1981 Swan Lake Anime by Toei. I'm kind of sexing up the cartoon version in a lesbionic way, so sue me ^_^

  • WOW that must have been a bunch of work :D

  • @passikg Definitely, but it's pretty fun :)

  • Great tutorial. I'm just making the transition from 3D art to a more traditional 2d medium, digital of course, and this really helps a noob like me out. Getting used to Illustrator is a bit daunting, thanks for making it just a bit easier. Love the tips.

  • @raddarfx Thanks! I've been wanting to dip a toe into 3D art which I find daunting, so that's funny :)

  • I love your drawings and I love your voice! Instant subscribe!

  • @Twillyane Thank you dear! There will be more to come soon!

  • Can you make a video for me In drawing a pin up illustration i seriously dont know what im doing at all with the phototshop illustrator

  • Hey love your drawing! Can you tell me where I can find this anime? Thanks :)

  • WTF

  • That was really nice. It will help me a great deal. I have tablet but I was using the pen tool followed by a created action to apply a brush stroke but it doesn't change the thickness of the curve throughout like this. Thanks. I will also check you out on Deviant. I have an account there as well: EsBest

  • @nagendra1988 Wacom Bamboo then, but now I use a Cintiq 21UX

  • @sithlary I bought the Adobe CS5 Master Collection which was about $2500, but Illustrator alone is a little under $600 - the student version is way cheaper if you're in school, though.

  • @ToAsTy42o Yup! It's a good way to control the shape of the line, but creating a custom brush can work just as well.
