  • The point is he is coaching him, not showing a perfect swing. Rick Down is correcting his swing.

  • Your completely wrong. The load has nothing to do with power, the only thing the load is for is to start your counter-rotation and to time the pitch. Your head doesn't follow your hands it follows the ball. Power is not generated through your upper body, your throwing your body at the ball. You need to rotate your hips to generate power using the big muscles of the body (Quad, Hamstring etc.). Before you teach you should learn the correct way.

  • Rick Down is the Hitting Coach for the NY Mets.

  • @javvilin do you think someone could fly out and meet with him for a couple of days for a amount of money?

  • lolz to the red bull 0:41

  • should your head stay still throughout the whole swing

  • your hips should go to the ball first then your hands following creating or power.

  • what should go to the ball first hands or hips

  • this whole situation has nothing to do with power..

its about contact point back words.. nd buildin a balanced swing..
