She describes and exemplifies Cued Speech and the work of Dr. Carol LaSasso at Gallaudet, Barbara discuss her research completed in 1988 (in the Volta Review journal) for which she gave the same English and reading standardized tests to different groups of students who used oral English, Cued Speech, SEE I, SEE II, Signed English and ASL.
