Matthias Beltz war in Funk und Fernsehen eine präsente Figur als Kabarettist, Diskussionspartner, Autor und Moderator bis er 2002 überraschend starb. „Der satirische Fachmann fürs Politische en detail und Menschliche en gros" (hr) hinterließ eine illustre Sammlung von -- teilweise unveröffentlichten - Gesangsaufnahmen seiner Lied-Texte. Ausgehend von diesen Aufnahmen von 1990 wurde zu der Original-Stimme von Matthias Beltz neues Klangmaterial zugespielt. Auch Geräusche und Samples aus anderen musikalischen Zusammenhängen und hörspielartige Sequenzen bereichern die neu entstandenen Liedstrukturen.

BADLY ORGANIZED ist das neue MILLE PLATEAUX sublabel für Avantgarde, Neue Musik, Improvisation, DaDa, Obskures, Naives etc. Labelchef Marcus Gabler erweitert damit das bislang rein elektronische Klangspektrum vom Mille Plateaux um dort bislang unerhört schräge Töne. So eröffnet sich eine völlig neue künstlerische Freiheit, die bis dato durch Erwartungen, Anspruch und intellektuellen Überbau verhindert wurde. Oder mit den Worten von Beltz: „Liberté, Égalité, Varieté!"

BADLY ORGANIZED is the new MILLE PLATEAUX label for Avantgarde, New Musik, Impro, DaDa, Obscure, Naïve etc. Label owner / A&R Marcus Gabler broadens Mille Plateaux's so far purely electronic range of genres with previously unheared odd sounds. This allows a new artistic freedom so far prevented by expectations, ambition and intellectual overhead. Or as Beltz would say: „Liberté, Égalité, Varieté!"
