I have a 1970 pw arms redmond wa z.m. lucznik 9x18 p-64 made in poland and the factory mag holds 6+1 chambered and it fires real well, paid $180 and it came with two mags,it goesnt say makarov on the pistol but it takes the 9x18 makarov rounds
After shooting it about 30 to 40 times i dnt regret buying it at all

Mine barely fits 6 in the mag, but the mag won't seat/lock into place in the mag well-so mines 5 too. 5+1 for a little hidden pistol is pretty decent.

Not on my Makarov. I can put 5 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. If I could put a 6th bullet in the magazine I would need a vise to hold down the magazine while I put the 6th round by pressure...lol. Even the 5th round is very hard to put in the magazine.
Are you talking about the same model and year and place of manufacture? Mine is a 1973 9x18 Makarov P-64 made in Radom, Poland.
Which one do you own?

very nice....Seems like a good little equalizer for the buck...

About 3lb. single action pull. It's accurate, I still need practice. = )

By the way, it holds 5 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber of 9x18 makarov rounds.

Makarov P-64 is very, very accurate. I bought mine for $99 with 2 magazines. Very solid handgun & very good as a concealed carry weapon. I always carry it with me in the house. I recomend it.
