@picklesandmilk4u whether by original with joel you mean the original broadway version or the movie (both of which he stared in as emcee) i agree, they're both just as good as each other

@bwaygirl234 this is the original revival from London, they changed casts when the came to America. So yes, it is the original revival cast.

Many people are comparing this version and the orginal version with Joel. I think that both were wonderful, meaniful, and as always, highly entertaining. They aren't meant to be compared, they are meant to be different adaptations and enjoyed.

I agree with a lot of people Joel was great but I think Alan was better truthfully. He just gives so much more in my opinion, I guess I mean he the character so much more his own :D
