In response to President Obama's recent announcement about an "accommodation" to a previous mandate that health plans must cover all forms of birth control, the Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS), says the church remains "deeply concerned." The LCMS strongly objects to birth control that can work post-conception to cause the death of a developing child.

Pastor Harrison is "Spot ON". Dr. Luther once said at the Diet of Worms...".My Conscience is captive to the Word Of God......to go against conscience,is neither right nor safe".There fore I cannot....and I will not recant. Here I Stand....God Help Me.........Amen.

Thank you for this presentation. It is critical for President Harrison to speak out clearly, directly and often. I am sending this to my pastor in Sherwood, Oregon, my friends, and all the members of our Bible Study.
