I love a good remix. I mean, to be a remix, the original mix has to be pretty sweet. It has to be pretty legit in order for someone to come along and offer a remix to the original, to add their own flavor to the original. So a remix keeps the awesomeness of the first "mix," then adds more awesomeness on top. It adds depth. It brings color to the black and white.
Freedom. William Wallace screams it at the top of his lungs in the movie Braveheart. Martin Luther King fights for it, proclaiming, "Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty I am free at last." We, as citizens of USA, celebrate it by blowing stuff up on July 4. And Paul threads the concept of freedom throughout his letter called Galatians. The apostle Paul is going to offer a remix to the former system called Judaism, and add the color of the cross of Christ in his letter to the Galatians. This fall semester of 2010, join us at the journey as we dig into this letter and its implications.
