PLEASE NOTE: This vid was banned by YouTube for ages because they took exception to my use of a song by Van Morrison. I've now given in and changed the audio.
This is a drive in Bristol, England, by the Clifton Suspension Bridge, under it, and over it. Filmed in April 2007.

  • Wow you drive so smoothly!

  • @faithoffaith Thanks for the compliment!

  • Excellent video of such a stunning piece of engineering. Makes me proud to be Bristolian, it's something I'll miss when I move to Cardiff university this Saturday. Great work!

  • Thanks for your comment!

  • What do you mean "banned tune"? Who banned it?

  • I first put this vid on YouTube over a year ago and it notched up quite a lot of viewings. Now that YouTube allows higher quality images I made a better version, and changed the soundtrack. I then received an e-mail from WebSheriffYTWatch, telling me I was not allowed to use van Morrison's music.

  • @JumpinPakFlash Konnichiwa haha :-)

  • @04smallmj Hey it's you! :)

  • @davidreynolds87 Your Welcome =)

  • You could put an audioswap on this vid.

  • YouTube generally follows U.S. copyright laws, which are very vague at times.

Major League Baseball, for example, has been known to take down **amateur videos** of baseball games at MLB ballparks. I understand that something ripped from the TV could be taken down, but I don't think someone can claim copyright because the video was an amateur film filmed on private property.

  • Do copyright laws allow "fair-use" of a certain length of the song in UK? It think that's the law in Australia.. like with a book, you can copy up to a certain percent without copyright infringemeent.

What a shame, but I guess some hard-working song-writer worked very hard to produce their music and earn their money.
