Yea thats part of the not so good scripting in this game, just like when you clearly shoot Vasquez through the window but it says you didnt connect w/ the target just so it can go into the next planned script of "you missed me, now you have to pursue me" ..

i always just took that thing and then regrouped and when i click continue at the end it gives me the main menu i didn't get whats wrong
