Who would have known when she was a star of the silents that Bebe Daniels had such a glorious singing voice. Certainly not Paramount with whom she was under contract for years and who dropped her like a hot tamale when talkies came in, doubtless thinking her career was over.. Imagine the shock they must have had when Radio Pictures (later RKO) signed her, Rio Rita became a smash hit movie and Bebe Daniels was the hottest property in Hollywood again!.

if you'd like o see her even younger watch some of Harold Lloyd's old silent films,she's in quite a bit of those.

How delicious! Never saw Daniels so young (never saw "Rio Rita"). She's practically a child, but that nose is so recognizable.
