@AirsoftGSG9 not really bro. the bass drop is over half of the reason most songs are good. this one was weaker than a limp dick. be pissed at me for my opinion all you want. it only makes you look ignorant.

Good shit man!

Why did I search this?
-
I need to download this, I love listening to classical while doing work and this is a merge of two genres that are so great. How can I get ahold of this?
-
@andramoie because its cello haha^^
-
@chuchunezbie Hey, calm down; I asked why it was tagged as violin, got a reasonable answer by the uploader, which I accepted instantly, so I don't see the problem.
Anyway I'd consider it fine, if there was a tagg "cello" and the source in the description.
So may the squirrels go on laughing, if it pleases them. :p
-
@andramoie yeah. And this is youtube, not symphony hall. And you're giving deep criticism to a song that's titled "Bach Classical Dubstep", actually you're criticizing the tagging. The common person is going to type "violin" before they type "viola" or "cello". The point is, you're barking way too loud up the totally wring tree (and the squirrels are laughing at you).
-
@AirsoftGSG9 how about we find a different word to insult people you dickhead.
-
@chuchunezbie Well, ok, it's fine, I've already accepted this point as you can read. However I don't think it is that easy to confuse it with a violin. Viola maybe, but violin with this pitch? I also don't see, why you shouldn't also add the tagg "cello".
Maybe a hint in the description, where this bit were taken from, woud be also nice.

@andramoie perhaps my words didn't come out clear enough the first time. I'll try again: Did You Listen To The Beginning?
tags are put on videos to attract potential viewers when they search for something, as you likely searched "violin" and came up with this video. The beginning of this tune has a violin esque noise to it where, to an untrained ear, sounds just like a violin. I'm not sure how much clearer I can be.
why is this tagged as "violin"?

@andramoie Because although it is not a violin it is a string instrument, in which case someone looking for dubstep involving violins may relate to this. Thats why.

@wordplay707 Ok sounds reasonable. ;)
Another question: What Suite is it, what's the movement and who's the artist?
andramoie 2 weeks ago
@andramoie Its Bach Cello Suite No.1, youtube it and you will find it being played by Rostropovich, its brilliant.

@wordplay707 Yeh I think is is Sarabande, Maisky's playing Schumann Concerto is one of my favourites all time favourites. I actually quite like Yo Yo Ma to be honest especially his interpretation of The Swan.

@wordplay707 Well, I don't say Maiskys playing is bad, but the music of Bach needs straightness and serenity and Mischa sometimes misses a bit of that. Totally different thing with other composers - for example I really like his perfomance of the second trio by Shostakovich (with Argerich and Kremer). Anyway I have to admit Yo Yo Ma didn't convince me with any of his work so far.

@andramoie I can see where you coming from there to be honest, Bach is not his biggest strength. Shostakovich's trio no. 2 often seems a little crowded to me, it does have something about it though. I do really enjoy Yo Yo, I think he conveys the
somber and romance in his playing very effortlessly.
