Forming a Company couldn't be easier with Andrew Millet (Principal of Wisteria Accountants, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in London) as he explains all the steps and things you need to know about company formations.

This video (part 5 of 7) explains the considerations you need to have when selecting the officers of the company:
- You need to employ at least 1 director over the age of 16
- the director can be based in the UK or abroad
- You can appoint a corporate director, but at least 1 director needs to be a person

- The law has changed regarding a company secretary and it is no longer legal requirement to have one, although my professional is that you should appoint one

- The company secretary is normally appointed the following tasks: safeguard and maintain the company register, financial statements and companies house notices are properly filed, board minutes are kept and maintained, and finally they should advise the board on all company governence matters
