In June 2007, we made the decision to adopt because we really wanted to become parents. On June 15, 2008, (the same birthday as Breanne's great grandmother who died of breast cancer), a precious little gift from God was brought into this world. She was abandoned in a park in Shanghai, China, then later brought to an orphanage. Little did we know, we would be united with this special little girl (whom we named Breanne after her grandmas Brenda and Ann) on September 13, 2010 and that our lives would be changed forever. We would like to share with you our journey to China to adopt our daughter and her first year with us as we celebrate our first "Gotcha Day." What a blessing from God!
